Art Attack Tuesday – Easter Egg Animals – #ArtAttackTuesday

on April 3, 2012

It’s that time of the week again for our #ArtAttackTuesday

This week as it’s easter we have made some easter egg animal critters.

With my daughter being very young still I decided against using an actual egg!!! I had nightmare visions pass before my eyes, so instead opted for polystyrene ones! Much safer!

Using pipe cleaners, coloured fluffy balls, fuzzy eyes, foam shapes, glue and paint we created a little animal family.

Our family consisted of:

A Bunny Rabbit

A Bee

A Spider

A Mouse

A Chick (with a hat – my daughter wanted it to have a hat!)

A Cat (resembling our little cat that joined in! Well kind of!!!)

I must admit it was slightly advanced and wishful thinking that my daughter would be able to actually make the animals herself so admittedly mummy did do much of the work but my little one did attempt to help by passing (ahem.. throwing) the craft pieces everywhere whilst screaming with delight. This in turn meant lots of small objects on the floor which my cat then had a field day with! I kind of ended up doing this on my own whilst my daughter and cat caused chaos around me but the main point is that we all had fun!!! 😉 Oh and I had more to clean up after too, but hey, so what!

I’d love to see what your little ones have been up to this week.

As always why not post on your blog and come back here with a comment and a link to your post to share with us what you’ve been up to. Then tweet me @amummysview with the link and #ArtAttackTuesday!

I look forward to seeing your creations! xxx
